Mayor Ken Welch’s reelection campaign announced a slate of endorsements today from local and regional leaders, including Arthenia Joyner, Rep. Michele Rayner, Commissioner Rene Flowers and Council Member Deborah Figgs-Sanders, along with prior backing from police and firefighter unions. Supporters cited Welch’s leadership on storm recovery, housing and the Historic Gas Plant District.
