U.S. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna presented Treasure Island officials with $1.6 million in federal funding today for upgrades to the city’s wastewater collection system. The project aims to reduce stormwater infiltration, prevent overflows during heavy rain events and extend the life of aging pipes by up to 50 years.
