U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders has endorsed Kyandra Darling in her campaign for Florida House District 62, according to a campaign text message sent Friday morning. Darling called the endorsement a “big deal” and noted Sanders announced his support through The New York Times. District 62 includes parts of southern Pinellas County and is expected to be a closely watched legislative race in 2026.
