Richie Floyd has won reelection to the St. Petersburg City Council, securing a second term representing District 8. Floyd credited supporters and volunteers for the victory, noting the campaign knocked on more than 5,000 doors and received contributions from nearly 500 donors. The incumbent campaigned on continuing efforts to address affordability, neighborhood issues and resident-focused policies over the next four years.
