Outgoing St. Petersburg City Council member Gina Driscoll has endorsed Trevor Mallory to succeed her in District 6, joining former Council Members Karl Nurse and Frank Peterman in backing his campaign. Driscoll praised Mallory’s record in affordable housing, neighborhood service and youth mentorship, calling him the best candidate to represent the district. Mallory faces five opponents in the Aug. 18 primary for the open seat.
