Former St. Petersburg mayors Bob Ulrich and Bill Foster have endorsed Charlie Crist in the city’s mayoral race, bringing the number of living former mayors supporting Crist to three of four. Ulrich, who served from 1987 to 1991 and was named “Mr. Sun” for his contributions to the city, cited Crist’s government experience, while Foster said Crist’s plans for the budget, government efficiency and keeping the Rays in St. Petersburg earned his support.
