Anna Paulina Luna (FL-13) introduced a bill, End Congressional Stock Trading Act, that would prohibit members of Congress, their spouses and dependents from trading stocks, bonds and commodities. The bill aims to increase public trust, illustrating to citizens that lawmakers cannot profit from insider information. “No one sent to Congress should be enriching themselves through Wall Street while writing the very laws that regulate our markets,” said Luna.
