Senator Nick DiCeglie, representative of Florida’s 18th Senate District, will kick off his reelection campaign Sept. 30 at Feather Sound Country Club in Clearwater. DiCeglie took office in Florida’s 18th Senate District in November 2022 after serving two terms in the Florida House. Posting on X, DiCeglie stated, “We’re fighting to help our Pinellas residents fully recover from last year’s hurricanes and male our community affordible again…” In the Senate he chairs the Appropriations Committee on Transportation, Tourism, and Economic Development and serves as vice chair of Governmental Oversight and Accountability. He was also chosen by colleagues to chair the Pinellas County legislative delegation for 2026–2027.
