It’s been a full week since the open carry law took affect, and according to Chamber of Commerce CEO Chris Steinocher: “all’s quiet on the Western front.” No major incidents involving open carry firearms have been reported in the City of St. Petersburg; businesses are trucking along as usual. Steinocher noted that all “no guns” stickers that were available at the chamber offices have been picked up by business owners, clearing the whole stock.
