State Rep. Linda Chaney will launch her re-election campaign with a kickoff event Oct. 29, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Cambria, 15105 Madeira Way in Madeira Beach. Chaney, a Republican representing Florida’s House District 61, was first elected to the Legislature in 2020. A longtime Pinellas County resident, she previously served on the St. Pete Beach City Commission and has worked in marketing and healthcare, including co-founding Tampa Bay Mobile Mammography. In the House, she has focused on issues such as coastal protection, infrastructure, and healthcare access.
